Your image is the shadow you want on the table, seen from above — black is light, white is dark. A sample also sets the pattern settings it was drawn for.
Your image is the shadow cast around the bowl, centred on the light — black is shadow. One dark span per direction: holes and inward pockets are filled in.
Rounds cutout corners. Even 0 leaves a slight chamfer. If fine detail is disappearing, raise the resolution — lowering this will not bring it back.
Openings at the base let air reach the candle — a starved tealight smokes and goes out. Set to 0 only for an LED tealight.
Measure your tealight: LED tip height is from its bottom to the top of the flame bulb. In Shade mode it sits upside down on the top rim, bulb hanging inside.
Open flame: print in PETG, or use an LED tealight. PLA starts softening around 60 °C.
LED tealights only — never a real candle. The rim sits right beside the light. Print it in an opaque, dark filament — a translucent rim lets light through and washes the shadow out.
